The digital project o largo. is now available in three languages, making the contents more accessible. For now, the functionality will be available only on o largo.
The contents are primarily available in Portuguese, and are later translated using an external translation service and manually revised before publication. “We want to reach more people”, Bruno Micael Fernandes, responsible for the editorial project, said, who believes that this is “an added value for the project” that is about to turn four years old. The service of notification of new articles is also available in these languages, with a differentiated subscription
The project is going through profound changes: “We have a new platform, a new way of sharing content, but also of monetising it,” Fernandes said, adding that the objective now focuses on creating what can be read and listened to by those who visit the site. “Our focus will be on producing multiplatform content: we want to build a connection between those who listen to our webrádio (o largo.fm) and those who visit Informadouro and vice-versa,” he exemplifies.
